ABOUT US

Congregational Singing

We sing songs of praise to God as instructed in the New Testament (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 13:15).  We do not use mechanical instruments simply because God commands us to sing with our voices and hearts.

Bible Based Preaching and Praying

Preaching is something the early church did diligently (Acts 2:42). Preaching will save those who believe and obey God (First Corinthians 1:21; Romans 1:16). Prayer is also commanded of each New Testament christian and is to be apart of the worship of the church (Acts 2:42).

Giving

The only way the church of Christ collects funds for the work of the church is through a free-will offering.  Christ commands we give as we have prospered on the first day of every week (First Corinthians 16:1-2; Second Corinthians 9:6-8).

The Lord’s Supper

The unleavened bread and fruit of the vine signify Christ’s body and blood as they were given on the cross for us (Matthew 26:26-29). We observe this memorial weekly just as our example commands (Acts 20:7).

ARTICLES

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;” (2 Peter 1:5–6).
